1. OriginalLine
OriginalLine is Nespresso’s classic line, which uses hermetically sealed pods. These machines are the most affordable and can make espresso and coffee. They also offer a greater selection of capsules and drinks than VertuoLine. VertuoLine machines are more suited to those who prefer larger drinks.
The VertuoLine is a brand new line that uses more advanced techniques and specifications. It is more efficient than the OriginalLine. They offer a wider selection of brew sizes such as 0.85 ounces of ristretto 1.35 ounces of double espresso, 5.8 ounces of lungo and 14 ounces of Alto XL. They also offer a faster process called centrifusion which rotates the pod at 7,000 RPM, allowing more water to pass through for better extraction.
In addition to enhancing the technology, VertuoLine has also increased the number of capsules that are reusable and has introduced an environmentally friendly packaging system. They are now using 80percent recycled aluminum for their coffee capsules, and are committed to increasing the percentage of recycled and low-carbon aluminum that is virgin in the future products.
The Lattissima Pro is one of the most efficient nespresso coffee machines available. It features a quick heating time and a touchscreen display for customizable settings. It also comes with an impressive steaming wand to create a cafe-quality foam and milk texture. This machine may not be as compact as other nespresso machines, but it is easy to clean and comes with a removable capsule container.
2. Vertuoline
The Vertuoline series is a new addition to the Nespresso lineup. It is the only machine to make espresso and coffee. It also has a built-in mixer for milk. This is an excellent option for those who love diverse black drinks but do not want the hassle of making them separately.
Vertuoline machines utilize a different pod system than the OriginalLine line. The pods are marked with barcodes that the machines scan to determine the size of the beverage (ristretto or cappuccino), and add the appropriate amount of water. This eliminates the need for an additional milk container and makes it much easier to make the perfect cup of espresso or coffee.
Vertuoline machines are better in terms of quality. They create crema that is more like the dense foam found at a coffee shop, as opposed to the lighter Crema produced by the OriginalLine machines. However, the OriginalLine machines still offer the best flavor because they generate 19 bars of pressure, which allows them to better extract flavor from espresso grounds.
The latest VertuoLine machines also employ the process known as Centrifusion to spin the capsules more quickly and more evenly than the Original Line machines. This increases the speed of the time that the water is infused and improves the overall quality of the drink. It also allows Vertuoline machines use lower temperatures, which reduces extraction time and boosts the strength of espresso.
3. Original
This entry-level Original machine makes a great choice for those with little space or a budget. It has a smaller water tank and capsule container, yet it can still produce 19 bars of pressure which is more than enough to make the kind of coffees and espressos people buy Nespresso machines for.
It is minimalist with a black design, and the top-facing button controls all functions, from powering on to the rinsing process and making. This is a typical approach in Nespresso machines. It makes them simple to use and understand.
Another benefit of this model is that it can be used with milk, and comes with a jug that can be used to make drinks with added foam. The machine also has 11 different milk temperature settings to customize the texture of your coffee or latte, and it can make both short and long cappuccinos and lattes.

Breville (known in Europe as Sage) is the maker of this latest version of Nespresso Creatista. Sage, Heston Blumenthal’s company is the maker of the machine. Breville designed the thermocoil heating system.
The most exciting aspect of the new Creatista is its automated steam and frothering system. Place your milk pitcher over the temperature sensor, which is located beneath the wand and the machine will do the rest. It comes with 11 settings, allowing you to customize the texture of your milk. You can also manually froth your milk if you prefer the traditional method.
The Creatista's fast heat-up time is a great feature. It reaches temperature in 3 seconds, which is quicker than other Nespresso machines. The machine's design is sleek and attractive and has the stainless steel body brushed that looks beautiful on any countertop. The high-resolution display makes it easy to use navigation when setting up, preparing, and maintaining the machine. The machine comes in four colors including black truffle (pictured), sea salt (pictured), damson blue (pictured) and stainless steel. The Creatista is also compact and measures 6.7 by 15.4 12 inches (WxDxH). It's the smallest Nespresso machine on the OriginalLine, which means it will fit perfectly on any counter.
5. CitiZ
This sleek espresso maker from Nespresso takes up less counter space than comparable models. It also comes with a folding cup tray that can be used to accommodate larger mugs and recipe glasses. This is an excellent feature for kitchens with smaller spaces, and it makes it easier to use the machine for taller recipes. It's also easy to re-create café favorites due to the extraction system that has 19 bars and the quick heat-up time.
The CitiZ Basic doesn't come with a milk frother. You can purchase one on its own or as part of the CitiZ&Milk Bundle. This bundle includes the Aeroccino steamer, which allows you to make lattes and creamy cappuccinos. This model can be used with reusable capsules however, they aren't included.
It has a huge 1-liter water tank and a used capsule container that can hold nine to 11 capsules. It doesn't automatically empty the capsules after brewing, however you can raise and lower the holder.

One of the key distinctions between this model and the older Lattissima Touch is that the version has 9 drink presets and only two of them are milk based drinks. It does not allow users to select the preferred texture of milk when you create recipes. However, this is possible on the Lattissima Pro.
The model also comes with a washable and reusable milk container, so you don't need to worry about buying fresh milk or buying an additional appliance to use the machine. This container is easy-to-clean and can be emptied within a matter of minutes into the sink.
